Cheng Yu Tong Tower on the Centennial Campus

A dedication ceremony will be held on November 8, 2012 (Thursday) for the Cheng Yu Tung Tower on HKU’s Centennial Campus. The building will be the new home of the University’s Faculty of Law which first began its classes on Caine Road forty-three years ago.
The University is grateful for the generous support of Dr Cheng Yu Tung, founder of the Chow Tai Fook Charity Foundation, to campus development and the Faculty of Law. The new Law building on the Centennial Campus was named Cheng Yu Tung Tower in his honour.
Honorary Chairman of the Chow Tai Fook Charity Foundation Dr Henry Cheng Kar Shun, HKU Vice-Chancellor Professor Lap-Chee Tsui, and Dean of Law Professor Johannes Chan, will officiate at the ceremony. Also speaking at the Ceremony will be the Honorary Professor of the Law Faculty and former Chief Justice Professor Andrew Li.

** Shuttle buses have been arranged to pick up press members from Admiralty, boarding point at the bus stop near Café de Coral of Admiralty Centre (Exit A of the Admiralty MTR station).
• Shuttle A (car plate no. LJ7383) will leave at 3:10pm sharp.
• Shuttle B (car plate no. KE8136) will leave at 3:20pm sharp.
