HKU Faculty of Dentistry to hold 2012 Graduation and Awards Ceremony

The Faculty of Dentistry at The University of Hong Kong (HKU) will hold its 2012 Graduation and Awards Ceremony tomorrow (on 5 December 2012). A total of 146 dental undergraduates, postgraduates, and academic staff members will receive degrees, certificates, prizes, and awards.

The Officiating Guest will be Sir Gordon Ying-sheung Wu, GBS, KCMG, FICE, Chairman of Hopewell Holdings Limited and Hopewell Highway Infrastructure Limited. Members of the media are cordially invited to cover this event.

The details of the Ceremony are as follows:
Date: 5 December 2012 (Wednesday)
Time: 7:00 pm
Venue:  Run Run Shaw Hall, 1/F, Hong Kong Academy of Medicine

Among the presenters of the degrees and awards will be Professor Roland T Chin, HKU Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Provost; Professor LP Samaranayake, HKU Dean of Dentistry and Director of the Prince Philip Dental Hospital; and Dr Sigmund SM Leung, President of the Hong Kong Dental Association. Other guests include Dr Homer WK Tso, Chairman of the Dental Council of Hong Kong, and Dr Roch KH Lee, President of The College of Dental Surgeons of Hong Kong. Representatives from The University of Hong Kong and Hong Kong’s dental community will also be in attendance.
