Landscape Theatrics: Urban Forum through Interactive Performance
HKU collaborates with local performers to facilitate an exploration of
the city’s urban future through projections and collective storytelling
26 Apr 2013
A group of Architecture and Landscape Architecture students of the University of Hong Kong is joining students from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts to engage community members in an interactive performance for an exploration of the city’s urban future through projections and collective storytelling. The Landscape Theatrics: Urban Forum through Interactive Performance will be held tomorrow (April 27) in the Jockey Club Creative Arts Centre (JCCAC), Shek Kip Mei.
The performance is part of a Landscape Theatrics course of HKU. Given the rising concerns over the politics of public space, the project uses Tai Kok Tsui as the stage and presents an outdoor Forum Theatre performance that addresses issues of urban renewal of the neighbourhood.
