HKU to hold ICEE Workshop on Clean Energy and Environment

Global warming is a serious international environmental protection issues that everyone faces. The rising awareness on environmental protection and sustainability resulted to the need on sustainable and renewable energy. In Hong Kong, the government, industry and academia are actively tackling the problem with the promotion of the use of Clean Energy.
The Initiative for Clean Energy and Environment (ICEE) of the University of Hong Kong will hold the ICEE Workshop on Clean Energy & Environment tomorrow (April 30). The Workshop will have the Keynote Speech delivered by Electric Power Research Institute Fellow Mr Clark Gellings; Opening Remarks concerning the Government’s initiatives on Clean Energy by Under Secretary for the Environment Dr Christine Loh as well as technical sessions on Smart Grid, Energy Storage and Bioenergy by academic experts.
