HKU to Announce 2006 Graduates Employment Statistics

The University of Hong Kong Centre of Development and Resources for Students (CEDARS) will announce graduates employment statistics for 2006 and report the job offers situation for the current final year students on May 21, 2007 (Monday). Statistics to be announced include:
• highest gross income, average gross income, non-local graduates working in Hong Kong, employment rate and job satisfaction ranking for 2006 graduates
• job offers situation for the current final year students
According to the survey, students of The University of Hong Kong are doing well in the job market, with record-breaking highest gross income. For the first time, a substantial number of non-local graduates are recorded to be working in Hong Kong after completion of their studies.
Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Albert Chau and Director of Careers and Placement Mr. Herman Chan will give a presentation at the press conference. After the presentation, an interview session is arranged for 2006 graduates and current final year students.
