HKU offers a number of collaborative undergraduate admission programmes in partnerships with top overseas universities. Besides the successful launch of the “HKU-Cambridge Joint Recruitment Scheme” in 2018, the Dual Degree programmes in collaboration with University College London (UCL) in the UK and Sciences Po in France have proved to be phenomenally successful in attracting the brightest minds in Hong Kong and overseas over the past years.
Following these successes, HKU will offer even more Dual Degree programmes with prestigious universities worldwide over the next year. The University is planning a Dual Degree Programme in collaboration with University of California, Berkeley, with the first admissions in 2019 subject to the formal approval processes of both universities. Students under this plan will get a Bachelor of Arts or Social Sciences degree from HKU and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Berkeley after the successful completion of the four-year programme in both Universities.
More Dual Degree programmes with the world’s leading institutions are in the pipeline and will be announced in the coming months.
