“An HKU spokesperson” responds to the media on class boycotts:
“The university is an institution of learning. Teaching and Learning on campus will take place as scheduled. Students have freedom of expression, and students participating in boycotts should be aware of the possible impact on the progress of their learning. The right of others who want to attend classes must also be respected. The University will closely monitor the situation to ensure that it can continue with its normal teaching and learning activities.”
