An HKU spokesperson responds to the media on a photo issued yesterday (May 26):
“The photos were made into a collage, and during the process all photos were edited for presentation to suit different scales in different channels. One of the photos was taken at a ceremony in 2014 to celebrate the unveiling of the sculpture, Fortiter in re, Suaviter in modo 外圓内方 , in honour of Dr. Ho. In response to feedback, the original photo was later posted in our pages. The University has never had any intention of censorship. We regret any misunderstanding and confusion caused.”
