Hong Kong Institution of Science The 15th Annual Conference - "Recent Advances in Food Science – Meeting the Challenges"

Inter-disciplinary experts in food science of Hong Kong, Mainland China and the United States are to exchange on significant food issues of current interest, ranging from food quality and safety, GM foods to nutrition needs, this Saturday (November 3, 2007) at the 15th Annual Conference of the Hong Kong Institution of Science (HKIS).
The Conference, entitled "Recent Advances in Food Science - Meeting the Challenges", is to be held at the University of Hong Kong (HKU). It is co-organized by the HKIS, HKU, Hong Kong Food Science and Technology Association and Hong Kong Health Food Association.
Members of media are cordially invited to cover the opening and other sessions of the Conference, details are as follows:

HKIS was established in 1992 to foster the development of science in Hong Kong and to facilitate the development of links with scientific communities on the Mainland China, Taiwan and overseas. Members of the HKIS are academics and professionals specializing in the fields of physical science, life science, engineering science and mathematics. It has been taking an active role in supporting the development of innovation and technology in Hong Kong.
