Six scholars from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Hong Kong (HKU) have been recognised as the 2024 AI 2000 Most Influential Scholar (Honourable Mention) for their exceptional contributions to artificial intelligence between 2014 and 2023.
The AI 2000 Most Influential Scholar Annual List (https://aminer.cn/ai2000) recognises exceptional technical achievements, characterised by lasting contributions and profound impact across different domains of artificial intelligence. Moreover, it promotes the recognition of young and active scholars in the field. It aims to identify and acknowledge the 2,000 most eminent research scholars globally over this decade (2020-2029). Each year, the top 10 scholars within each domain are distinguished "AI 2000 Most Influential Scholars", while the top 11 - 100 scholars are honoured as recipients of the "AI 2000 Most Influential Scholar Honourable Mentions".
