HKU Young Brain Scientist Program holds first public lecture for secondary students

The University of Hong Kong (HKU) Young Brain Scientist Program is the first project in HK designed for secondary students to increase their awareness of the potential impact from brain science research. Six professors from the HKU Department of Psychology will give public lectures on their expertise from December 2013 to June 2014.
In first public lecture to be held on December 13 (Friday), Dr. Chia-huei Tseng will talk about Attention. The lecture will be held from 5 to 6:30pm at HKU and will be conducted in English. As space is limited (150 students maximum), please register early for enrolment at: http://www.psychology.hku.hk/hkuybs/.

The content and format of the lectures are tailor-made to suit the tastes and knowledge level of our secondary school students. Participating students will receive a certificate from HKU Young Brain Scientist Program, and selected students will be invited to join privileged brain science lab tours and workshops.
