HKU responds to the media on class boycott
19 Jan 2016
An HKU spokesperson responds to the media on class boycott.
“HKU members are entitled to the freedom of expression. When exercising their freedom, they should respect a diversity of opinions and the rights of others. They should also take responsibility for their own acts.
In case of class boycotts, teaching and learning activities at HKU would be held as usual, as we believe there are students who wish the classes to proceed. The University will closely monitor the situation to ensure that we can make every effort to maintain 'business as usual'.”
