HKU and CUHK hold the 13th Vice-Chancellor's Cup Soccer Match

The University of Hong Kong (HKU) and The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) held the 13th Vice-Chancellor’s Cup Soccer Match today (March 20).

The soccer match started at around 9a.m. at HKU's Stanley Ho Sports Centre in Sandy Bay. HKU President and Vice-Chancellor Professor Peter Mathieson and CUHK Vice-Chancellor Professor Joseph J.Y. Sung officiated at the kickoff ceremony. CUHK beat HKU by 2:0 in the event.

This was the 13th time the match has been held since it was first played in 2003 to commemorate the collaboration of the two universities during the SARS ordeal.
